Peter Rabbit is the film adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s classic tale of a rebellious rabbit determined to sneak into a farmer’s vegetable garden.
Will Gluck directs while James Corden, Daisy Ridley, Margot Robbie and Domhnall Gleeson star.
I grew up reading one or two of the Peter Rabbit books, but I only remember the stories vaguely.
My curiosity about how much I loved the books, and the general cuteness of all the animals, is why I’m tuning in. Also, I’ve always enjoyed stories about mischievous and clever animals.
Murder On The Orient Express has a very impressive cast list; one that includes, Kenneth Branagh who’s also the film’s director, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Penélope Cruz, Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad – to name just a few.
Based on Agatha Christie’s famous novel of the same name, this mystery/crime/drama is set on a lavish train ride through Europe. A ride that has thirteen strangers stranded on a train and everyone is a murder suspect.
It’s up to Hercule Poirot (Branagh) to race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.
The very talented cast, the fashion, cinematography and story are all great reasons to watch this version of Murder On The Orient Express.
The filming style teased in this trailer is equally appealing, along with Hercule Poirot’s accent, particularly the way he says ‘evil.’
The latest trailer for the new Star Wars movie, Star Wars – The Last Jedi is here.
Directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Adam Driver, the story continues with Rey (Ridley) on her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker following the events of Star Wars Episode 7 – The Force Awakens (2015).
I like the first 20 seconds of this trailer. After that though, it becomes a little tedious and leaves me thinking, ‘I know how to breathe but what else have you got?’ I found the trailers for the previous Star Wars movie far more exciting and thrilling, teaser trailer or not. It’s probably too early to call it, of course. So I wait.
I love stories about determined individuals who say things like ‘to hell with the expectations of others, I’m going to be true to myself.’
Todays trailer is for one such story. A story set in the mountains of northwestern Mongolia, home to Aisholpan Nurgaiv, a determined 13-year-old girl in pursuit of her convention breaking true calling.
Directed by Otto Bell and narrated by Daisy Ridley, the premise of The Eagle Huntress brings to mind Princess Merida of Disney’s Brave (2012) – another determined young girl choosing her own path. I can’t wait to watch and cheer Aisholpan Nurgaiv on.
