Directed by Joe Penna, this one is the story of Overgård, a man stranded in the Arctic who is finally about to receive his long-awaited rescue.
However, on account of a tragic accident, the rescue opportunity is lost and Overgård must figure out how he’s going to survive.
Mads Mikklesen stars as Overgård and Maria Thelma Smáradóttir is the only other cast member.
I like this trailer more than expected. It had me imagining all sorts of things about why Overgård was digging in the first place. I’m watching to find out how he’ll make it out live.
At Eternity’s Gate is a Julian Schnabel-directed biography that takes us inside the world and mind of a person who, despite scepticism, ridicule and illness, created some of the world’s most beloved and stunning works of art.
If you hadn’t already guessed based on the above picture, the artist in question is, of course, Vincent van Gogh who’s played by Willem Dafoe.
Also starring Mads Mikkelsen, Oscar Isaac and Rupert Friend, At Eternity’s Gate features scenes based on Van Gogh’s letters, common agreement about events in his life that present as facts, hearsay, as well as purely invented moments.
Other key cast includes Mathieu Amalric, Emmanuelle Seigner and Niels Arestrup.
This trailer reminds me so much of how painful the lives of many great artists often are. ‘Maybe God made me a painter for people who aren’t born yet.’ Such heartbreaking words because of all that it could possibly mean.
Definitely looking forward to this one and I’m quite sure that Dafoe and Mikkelsen will do a wonderful job in their roles.
Rogue One – A Star Wars Story (2016), Ben Mendelsohn
The new Rogue One – A Star Wars Story trailer looks good and it definitely has less of a’low budget‘ feel compared to the teaser released back in April.
I’m thinking that the much reported re-shoots helped do the trick. May it turn out great for all the Star Wars fans.
It may not look like it at first and second glance, (at least not to me) but Doctor Strange, the latest movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams and Tilda Swinton is part of the Marvel universe.
Teaser Trailer
Trailer 2
Even though I’m over the ‘saving the world’ storyline synonymous with Marvel’s movies, I’m open to seeing how Doctor Strange will do the same thing but differently, somehow.
I suspect I’m not alone when I say some of the footage in this trailer brings Inception (2010) to mind.
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen and Benedict Wong also star.
Rogue One – A Star Wars Story. That’s right. Starring Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Forrest Whitaker and Genevieve O’reilly, we have another new Star Wars movie.
Teaser Trailer
Trailer 1
I’ll admit that I’m not very excited about this one. But then again, I still have yet to watch a single Star Wars film because fantasy isn’t my favourite genre. Nevertheless, I couldn’t help but notice that the teaser trailer makes this film look more ‘low budget’ thanStar Wars – Episode 7- The Force Awakens. It may appear low budget because, well, it is.
Those who really love the franchise likely won’t agree, but I’m just thinking, isn’t this overkill? It still feels like The Force Awakens was released just yesterday.
Instead of J.J. Abrams, Gareth Edwards is directing. Riz Ahmed, Jonathan Aris and Donnie Yen also star.
