Dead To Me is a new comedy series starring  Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini, Edward Asner and James Marsden.

Created by Liz Feldman, at the heart of the story is the powerful friendship that grows between a free spirit with an unexpected secret and a tightly wound widow.

I really like it when filmmakers put together two actors I had no idea I wanted to see in the same production. I’m in for the story, humour, mystery and certainly the sisterhood.

Tiffany Yvonne Cox, Sam McCarthy, Felice Heather Monteith, Luke Roessler, Diana Maria Riva, Adora Soleil Bricher, Nayeli Esparza and Gloria Calderon Kellett also star.

The Perfect Date (2019), Noah Centineo, Netflix.

Directed by Chris Nelson, Noah Centineo, Laura Marano, and Camila Mendes’s new comedy/romance is about teenager Brooks Rattigan.

To help him save up for college, Brooks creates an app that enables him to get hired to play the perfect stand-in boyfriend for any occasion.

This is one I’ll watch when the mood for an ‘easy viewing’ romance movie hits and I don’t mind too much that I probably already correctly guessed the ending .

I see a similarity or two to Centineo’s last film, To All The Boys I Loved Before (2018), and I find myself wondering about the ways in which the formula may be different here.

Blaine Kern III, Matt Walsh, Odiseas Georgiadis, Sue-Lynn Ansari, Joe Chrest and Trina LaFargue also star.

7 Days Out is a new documentary series offering a behind the scenes look at some of the most iconic cultural events in the fields of fashion, sports, food, gaming, and space. 

Events featured include a Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show, NASA’s Cassini Mission and the Westminster Dog Show, to name just a three.

 I’m most interested in the fashion show episode, then the restaurant opening followed by the space mission.

As someone who doesn’t enjoy organising events, I actually quite enjoy watching other people do it and do it well. I also love food and fashion as art.

In ARQ, a Netflix original movie written and directed by Tony Elliot, Robbie Amell and Rachel Taylor play a couple who must fend off masked raiders while they’re trapped in a lab and stuck in a time loop.

Also starring Jacob Neayem, Gray Powell and Shaun Benson, this well-edited trailer and and the words ‘time loop’ are what got my attention, something I hope the finished movie can keep from start to finish.

I know who Keith Richards is because of The Rolling Stones and and their music. I’m also British.

Those familiar with Richards will likely agree that, to say the very least, he’s quite an intriguing character and Netflix clearly agrees.

Johnny Depp’s portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow in The Pirates Of The Caribbean movies is inspired by Richards. If it wasn’t already, now it’s clear what a great job Depp did.
