From director  Julie Taymor, The Glorias is a new biography that covers the story of feminist icon Gloria Steinem’s itinerant childhood’s influence on her life. Especially as a writer, activist and organizer for women’s rights worldwide.

Key cast includes Julianne Moore, Alicia Vikander, Janelle Monáe, Bette Midler…

I’m curious about this one because it’s always great to learn about humans who helped changed the world in positive ways. It also helps that the cast is good.

Also, maybe because the last few weeks saw the release of some truly epic trailers but I wish that this trailer edit had me more excited than it does.

Lulu Wilson, Timothy Hutton, Mo Brings Plenty, Myles Evans, Lorraine Toussaint, Kimberly Guerrero, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, David Shae and Allie McCulloch also star.

I’m certainly intrigued by this story of jealousy between ‘friends.’ The last time I was pleasantly surprised by a story witha similar theme was in Always Shine (2016), starring Mackenzie Davis – who delivered a great performance.

I’m ready for what looks like a good rather dark turn for Vikander.

I honestly remember very little of this story when Angelina Jolie played Croft. I’ll be watching because I’m curious to see how well Vikander does in this role. By this point, the thing I’m most impressed by after watching this trailer is definitely Vikander’s physical transformation. I suddenly have an urge to work on my fitness.
