Nicholas Hoult and Elle Fanning are the stars of new comedy/drama The Great.

A ‘sort of based on a true story’ tale of a royal woman from rural Austria, who marries an Emperor. Only she finds out that her life is not quite what she’d imagined and she’ll have to choose between her own personal happiness and the future of Russia.

Additional key cast includes Phoebe Fox, Adam Godley, Charity Wakefield and Douglas Hodge.

I’m in for the power struggle, the costumes, plus the entertaining silliness and word play.

Gwilym Lee, Paul O’Kelly, Bayo Gbadamosi, Michael Odin Cartwright, Charlie Price, Christophe Tek, Phill Webster, Sacha Dhawan and Sebastian De Souza also star.

The Great Release Dates: May 15th, 2020 (US)…

Based on Jennifer Niven’s best-selling book of the same name, All The Bright Places is a drama/romance starring Elle Fanning and Justice Smith.

Directed by Brett Haley; Violet (Fanning) and Theodore (Smith) meet and impact each other’s lives in positive ways while struggling with the emotional and physical scars of their past.

Additional key cast includes Keegan Michael Key, Alexandra Shipp and Luke Wilson.

I can’t help but compare movies where teenagers fall in love, while one of them is unwell, to the rather good The Fault in Our Stars (2014). Still, I’m interested to see how this will be different.

Nicole Forester, Felix Mallard, Lamar Johnson, Ming Wang, Kelli O’Hara, Sofia Hasmik, Paige Neuenschwander, Jack DeVillers and Andrew Van Camp also star.

All The Bright Things Release Dates: February 28th, 2020 (US)…

In new drama Roads Not Taken, director Sally Potter’s story centres around a day in the life of Leo (Javier Bardem), as he floats through alternate lives he could have lived. While doing so, his daughter Molly begins to wrestle with her own path.

Roads Not Taken also stars Salma Hayek, Laura Linney, Branka Katic and Dimitri Andreas.

A very intriguing premise indeed. One that will likely force me to look back at all my past choices. But am I ready? That is the question.

Either way, I like how unexpected the cast is, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds, because I’m sure the acting will be great. However, I think the way it’s edited will be especially important.

Katia Mullova-Brind, Milena Tscharntke, Debora Weston, Aaron Joshua, Sabina Cameron, Griffin Stevens Catherine Levi, Ruth Keeling and Olan Montgomery also star.

I’m curious about Elle Fanning’s British accent, and I want to find out how much Teen Spirit will remind me of Beyond The Lights (2014)if at all.
