Neon-loving director, Nicolas Winding Refn, is back with Her Private Hell, a glamour, sex, and violence-filled thriller starring Sophie Thatcher, Charles Melton, Dougray Scott and Havana Rose Liu.

Interesting vibe. I’ll say that.

It’s really Thatcher from Companion. (2025), she’s the main reason I’m interested. What I’m certain of is that there will be neon.

Diego Calva, Kristine Froseth, Shioli Kutsuna, Parker Sawyers, Hidetoshi Nishijima, Lola Corfixen, Boy Ewald, Jason Hendil-Forssell and Mark Gosse also star.

Nicolas Winding Refn, the celebrated director of Drive (2011) and Only God Forgives (2013) has a new movie.

Starring Elle Fanning, Alessandro Nivola, Christina Hendricks and Bella Heathcote; what we can expect is a thriller/horror film.

I haven’t watched Refn’s previous movie Only God Forgives (2013), but it’s clear that the man loves neon. This time round, neon is not just part of the cinematography /mise en scene, but it’s in the movie’s title too.

I’ll be watching because Drive was good, as is Fanning. I just need to get brave first. You know, for the horror.

Keanu Reeves, Jena Malone Desmond Harrington and Charles Baker also star.
