Splitsville is a new comedy starring Dakota Johnson, Nicholas Braun, Adria Arjona, O-T Fagbenle and co-writer/director Michael Angelo Covino.

The fun starts when Ashley (Arjona)’s husband, Carey, goes to his married friends, Julie (Johnson) and Paul, for support after Ashley asks for a divorce. Their advice leads to actions that result in even more havoc than anticipated.

Chaotic is clearly the word here. I look forward to being in the right mood to take this promising madness on.

I haven’t watched Materialists (2025) yet, but I’m intrigued by a second movie where Johnson is stuck in a love triangle.

Are you also ready for this ‘full-on comedy’? It seems there are fewer of those these days.
