The Freedom To Marry is a new documentary about the fight to legalise marriage for same-sex couples.

Covering the final frenetic months leading up to the Supreme Court ruling, we get to meet some of the key players. To name just one, Evan Wolfson, attorney and gay rights advocate who has worked tirelessly for many years in the name of equality.

I currently only know the basics about all that it took to get to that fateful day on June 26, 2015. The day when the Supreme Court finally ruled that state-level bans on same-sex marriage are unconstitutional. I’m now ready for a good audio visual schooling on this topic.
