Starring Chris Evans, an Actor best known for his role as Marvel’s Captain America and British Actress Alice Eve, Before We Go is a drama/romance about two people that meet on the subway in New York City.
Something reminiscent of Richard Linklater’s brilliant film, Before Sunrise (2004) is what I’m thinking of after watching this trailer. As such, I look forward to seeing how this particular story unfolds. Even more so because this is Evans’ directorial debut.
You wouldn’t be blamed if after hearing the premise of Ted, your reaction was ‘Really? Please!
But then you learn a little more and realise that the movie is the brainchild of Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy. He not only stars as the voice of Ted but directed and wrote it too. Suddenly, a film about a grown man’s wish to bring his childhood teddy bear to life coming true seems quite watchable.
Fans of the very successful Family Guy series would be the most excited (just a little more, perhaps) than fans of general good humour – particularly humour that’s silly and filthy in parts.
Also starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis, there’s plenty of funny dialogue. One of the key highlights for me is Donny, the character played by Giovanni Ribisi and his highly peculiar dance moves.
Lastly, who could forget the scene with all the ‘white trash’ names listed by Mark Wahlberg’s character?
I am Chris Farley features stories from friends, family, comics and actors that worked with Farley prior to his unfortunate death by drug overdose in 1997.
Directed by Brent Hodge and Derik murray; I’m most curious about how Farley chose comedy and the cautionary tale in the struggles and success that resulted in his unfortunately early demise at 33.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy… There are very few other names that get me as excited about the release of a brand new trailer than these two, and what a beauty we have here.
Teaser Trailer…

The Revenant, is from Alejandro González Iñárritu, the director of the 2015 Best Picture Oscar winning film, Birdman (2014).
Based on this stomper of a teaser, the film’s tale of vengeance might just be the one. You know, the film that finally gets that Best Actor golden trophy in the hands of… you know.
Tom Hardy’s Legend has a great new trailer. This third version is so well put together that you’re not going to be happy when it’s over. Sounds like an odd thing to say, until you realise that it’s only July and the release date is in two to three months time.
Impatiently goes our wait to witness the extraordinary transformation of Mr. Hardy, great British humour and that good, good music.
