Based on the work of real life social psychologist Stanley Milgram, Experimenter focuses on the 1961 radical behaviour experiments that Milgram carried out, in order to test the ordinary person’s willingness to obey authority.
With Peter Sarsgaard, John Leguizamo, Winona Ryder and Anton Yelchin as the leading cast, I’m excited to see where this intriguing true story goes.

Read my spoiler-free movie review of We Are Your Friends (2015).
I wasn’t sure what to make of the initial trailer for Zac Efron’s latest movie, We Are Your Friends, but after watching the second, my mind is changed.
Movies that have characters working hard, sacrificing and dedicating their energy to whatever it is that makes them come alive are always appealing to me. Especially when the characters are faced with outside pressure to do the contrary.
Directed by Max Joseph and featuring a supporting cast that includes Wes Bentley, Emily Ratajkowski and Shiloh Fernandez, I’ll definitely be watching, also, certainly for the story and the promise of good electronic/dance music.

I found the first instalment in the Maze Runner series ok. The best parts being a few well-executed, tense and edge of your seat moments.
With trailer 2, thankfully, things are looking more exciting.
May the finished film please be at least half as thrilling as this trailer.

Trailer 1 of The Hunger Games – Mocking Jay Part 2 arrives and it’s clear that the makers had the word ‘epic.’ in mind.
