Written/directed by Gabrielle Demeestere; Yosemite is the latest drama starring James Franco. Set in 1985, it tells the intertwining stories of three 5th-grade friends.
I’m optimistic about this one because the story is intriguing and I like the atmosphere of the trailer; sometimes that’s all you need.
Also, as a film fan, I feel as though I have to watch at least one of James Farnco’s films that somehow features Palo Alto as a theme. The other one I’m thinking of – and there may be more is literally called Palo Alto (2013), and I haven’t seen it.

I got Palo Alto recently but haven’t had time to watch it yet. Looking forward to it.

I’ve mostly seen James Franco’s comedy films. I.e., Pineapple Express which I adore. I need to try more of his serious dramas.
