In The Lovers which stars Tracy Letts, Aidan Gillen, Debra Winger and Melora Walters, both the husband and wife of a long-married couple are having affairs.
The plot is one about infidelity, the kind I haven’t seen a lot of in cinema. This, along along with the talented cast are good reasons to tune in.
I wonder if there’s more to this story than the trailer suggests. For example, who are the lovers and why? Is the title about them specifically, lovers in general or the husband and wife?
Lastly, am I just over-thinking this because I’m desperate to be taken new somewhere story-wise? Yes. Very, very likely.

This looks fun. The story, not the infidelity 😀
