In new action/adventure/horror The Predator, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race, after a young boy accidentally triggers the return of the universe’s most lethal hunters.

This is a very good teaser trailer. However, not for a second would I have imagined that an 11-year-old actor would be the one to put me at ease where the expected quality level of a new movie is concerned. Then again, not every 11-year-old is a very talented Canadian called Jacob Tremblay.

I’m very much looking forward to this, in part because of the beautiful bass in Boyd Holbrook’s voice.

Yvonne Strahovski, Thomas Jane, Keegan-Michael Key and Lochlyn Munro also star.
