Starring Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Michael Shannon, Tom Hardy and Mike Faist; The Bikeriders is a new crime/drama directed by Jeff Nichols of (Mud (2012) and Loving (2016).
Capturing the evolution of a motorcycle club from a social safe place to a sinister gang, The Bikeriders tells the story of Benny (Butler) and the choice he has to make between the gang and his new love.
I generally care very little about motorcycles, but this trailer has me invested in how Benny’s (Butler) story will end. As always, there’s no doubt Hardy will be his usual memorable self.
One more thing, initially I felt as though The Bikeriders is not the best title for this movie. Now I feel as though it may have grown on me. What do you think? is the title too ‘on the nose’ or is it perfectly fine?
Beau Knapp, Damon Herriman, Emory Cohen, Toby Wallace, Paul Sparks, Karl Glusman, Happy Anderson, Will Oldham, Mierka Girten, Paul Dillon and Nathan Neorr also star.
The Bikeriders Release Dates: June 21st, 2024 (US & UK)…
Happy Film Loving,

Not a big fan of Butler but Hardy I will follow anywhere. Not crazy about the title.
Where Hardy is concerned, join the queue, lady! 😁 As for Butler, I’m curious, what turned you off?
I really liked Butler in Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood. I could not take him as Elvis. Not that he didn’t try his best to mimic him, just doesn’t have the “it” the real Elvis had. Thanks for asking 🙂
That’s fair. The Elvis movie didn’t interest me at all, unfortunately. Still, it’s a shame Butler didn’t bring the magic for you. He doesn’t seem to resemble Elvis much, so I’m sure that doesn’t help matters.
I kind of like the name, and it looks good –
This is indeed a good trailer. Glad you like the title enough for those who remain unsure. 😁
The Bikeriders, The Bikeriders, The Bikeriders… Yes, it feels wrong to me too.
😁✋
Hadn’t seen the trailer until now. The subject matter doesn’t really intrigue me, but the cast certainly does. The title…I think someone could do better than that one.
I feel similarly Bruce. I wonder what the alternative titles were before they settle for Bikeriders. 🤔🧐
I just saw a tv commercial for it an hour ago. Seems like an odd time of year to release that type of movie, That’s funny…picturing the marketing folks sitting around tossing out alternative titles before saying…”hey, let’s call it Bikeriders.”
😁! That meeting had to have had at least one person who disagreed. I like to tell myself that they were simply outvoted, or maybe too shy to speak up because they were new. 😁
🤣
Thanks for sharing this idea Anita
My pleasure, Anita. 🤓
Yeah, I would watch this, even if maybe a little too violent for my taste, it still looks good!
There’s certainly something about it that appeals, and I don’t just mean the initials T.H. 😁
