Steven Soderbergh’s latest movie is Presence. A drama/horror/thriller starring Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, plus Julia Fox, and about a family convinced they’re not alone in their new suburban home.

I’m curious about what has been described as ‘Soderbergh’s best combination of form and function‘. Nevertheless, I haven’t forgotten that my specific sensibilities mean I probably shouldn’t watch it. Particularly if I don’t want to start looking at inanimate objects suspiciously for no apparent reason,
Will you be acquainting yourself with the Presence upon release? Something tells me that you too are curious, yes?
Lucas Papaelias, Callina Liang, Eddy Maday, Natalie Woolams-Torres, Jared Wiseman, Daniel Danielson, Benny Elledge and West Mulholland also star.
Presence Release Dates: January 24th, 2025 (US & UK)…

Happy to see Lucy. I hoPe the “Soderbergh’s best combination of form and function” comment is accurate.
Truth! I’m just hoping to be brave enough for this one. 🙏🤞🤞
Soderbergh is a great director and in the last times he was able to use so interesting techiniques to give us awesome movies, so I’m really interested in this one!
Agreed. I listened to him being interviewed on the SMARTLESS podcast recently. I learned some things that made me appreciate him even more.
Nope, too creepy for me right now!
I blame you not , dear Tiffany. 😁
Thanks for sharing this idea Anita
