Read my spoiler-free movie review of Jurassic World – Rebirth (2025).
Directed by Gareth Edwards, Jurassic World Rebirth, the latest trailer for the new instalment of the Jurassic Park movie franchise is here. is
Starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey and Rupert Friend, the story is set five years after Jurassic World Dominion (2022), when an expedition, in the name of extracting DNA for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough, decides to brave isolated equatorial regions.
This looks promising. I like that it’s a different angle on the Jurassic Park story. The dinosaurs and Monsieur Bailey are my main reasons I’m drawn to it.
Additionally, this story reminds me a little of the rather fun Kong, Skull Island (2017). Perhaps Bailey will bring a similar magic to that brought by Tom Hiddleston in Kong Skull island.
How do you feel about this rebirth?
Jurassic World Rebirth Release Dates: July 2nd, 2025 (US & UK)…
Happy Film Loving,

Honestly? I was surprised too. Maybe this time we will have a nice Jurassic World movie. And I trust a lot the director since he did a lot of interesting works like Monsters, Godzilla, Star Wars Rouge One and the underated The Creator.
I did notice the last Jurassic World movie didn’t do well. No wonder they deemed it time for a resurrection and a different angle.
The problem with the other movies (in general with all the Jurassic World) is that the story is written very very bad. I mean, the story was never the strenght point of Jurassic Park, but at least in the first chapter it had a sort of solid base. They have to return to write well these movies.
I hear you about the lacking stories. I remember noticing a super-forced romance between Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard’s characters.
That was one of the problems ot the movies. One problem out of thousands, at least for me.
I don’t know that I’m entirely excited for it, but I’ll see it nonetheless. Just wish they gave it a different title if they really wanted to separate it from the Jurassic World trilogy.
I hear you about the title. We’ll have to wait and see just how different it is.
I have not seen the previous one yet, but in general I enjoy this franchise. I also have to rewatch the 2nd and 3rd from the series.
In any case, this looks like a fun creature feature (like you said) in the vein of the latest Kong and Godzilla movies!
Looks like you’re going to be busy with dinosaurs, Uri. 🤓 Enjoy!
I want to be excited for it but the last few have left me underwhelmed
The director is different, so that’s one small plus. 🤞🤞
Indeed. Intrigued by the cast too.
