TRON – ARES (2025): New Trailer Starring Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Sarah Desjardins, Gillian Anderson…

Directed by Joachim Rønning, Tron Ares is the latest action/adventure/sci-fi film starring Greta Lee, Jared Leto, Evan Peters and Gillian Anderson.

The story is focused on a highly sophisticated program called Ares. One sent on a dangerous mission from the digital world into the real world.

What a wonderful trailer!

All I knew before writing this post and watching this trailer was that Jeff Bridges starred in 2010’s Tron – Legacy movie, not that I got around to watching it, sadly. I was probably too busy obsessing over DiCaprio’s Inception.

This one has me excited about the characters, story and all that beautiful red in the visual effects. Plus, we are in a different time, technologically speaking, which I imagine makes the premise even more interesting, right?

How much are you looking forward to Tron – Ares?

Sarah Desjardins, Jeff Bridges, Cameron Monaghan, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Hasan Minhaj, Shalyn Ferdinand, Jason Tremblay, Brad Harder, Kenneth Seto Tynan, Cameron Park, Zahra Alani and Jay Durant also star.

Tron – Ares, Release Dates: October 10th, 2025 (US & UK)…

Happy Film Loving,

G

  1. Forgot this was in development! I for one am very excited as I’m hoping to steal some red and blue visuals for the Sucker Punch AΩ series I’m working on… I received the first one, Tron Legacy this past christmas. They tried to make Jeff Bridges appear younger, but the technology was not quite there yet so it looks uncanny valley. The rest of the visual effects in Tron Legacy are quite impressive though. As for this one, Ares, hot name! I don’t see any story here whatsoever but this is just.a teaser after all🐏🔥

  2. Have you seen the original Tron from 1982? I saw Tron: Legacy in theaters before I saw the original, but I would recommend seeing them in order. Tron: Ares looks better than I was expecting, but I’m not sure about the premise.

  3. I’ve seen all so far (including the animated series), and I like the concept. The first one was revolutionary in blending animation, computer graphics, and live action.

I even played Tron Evolution on PSP.

This one looks slick and cool. Let’s see what happens. 🙂
