Written/directed by Tyler Perry, Acrimony stars Taraji P. Henson as a faithful wife who becomes enraged when it’s abundantly clear that she has been betrayed by her devious husband.

I’m tuning in because it’s Taraji P. Henson, who’s a wonderful actor and always a delight to watch. I’m going to miss her as Cookie once Empire ends. She’s the only reason I keep watching that show, now, if I’m honest. This trailer also inspired flashbacks of Angela Bassett in Waiting to Exhale (1995). fingers crossed the end result is worth it.

Lyriq Bent, Danielle Nicolet and Jazmyn Simon also star.
