10 CLOVERFIELD LANE (2016): New Trailer Starring John Goodman…

Produced by J.J. Abrams, directed by Dan Trachtenberg and starring John Goodman, 10 Cloverfield Lane is an interesting  new Sci-fi movie.

With the word Cloverfield in the title, we can assume it’s safe to guess that what’s ‘coming’ is monsters/aliens, for this is a sequel of the 2008 movie Cloverfield.

The question now is, will that mad girl on a crutch actually open the door? For the purposes of an entertaining film, probably. However, on the other hand, what type of lunatic must one be to go outside sans weapons and to meet the unexplained when one can barely move?

John Gallagher Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Winstead also star.

Release Date(s): March 11th, 2016 (US)

Read my spoiler-free movie review of Love the Coopers (2015).

Summer isn’t over yet but if you didn’t already know, it’s time for the Christmas movie trailer. And Love The Coopers is the first one I’ve seen for 2015.

Does it look refreshingly different? No, but it does look like this Jessie Nelson-directed seasonal film will provide precisely the mildly amusing, yet heartwarming entertainment one can enjoy after stuffing one’s face on the Lord’s special day.

The cast list includes familiar names like Olivia Wilde, Diane Keaton, John Goodman, Amanda Seyfried, Marisa Tomei and Anthony Mackie.

Out November 2015 (U.S.) and December 2015 (U.K.)

A promising new trailer has arrived for a movie about the movie business in the 1940s.

Directed by Jay Roach; Bryan Cranston, Helen Mirren, Louis C.K., Diane Lane and John Goodman are all great reasons to watch. Other reasons include all the beautiful words/dialogue, including the following.

Nobody has the right to tell you how to write, act, pray, speak, vote, protest, love, work, create, talk, live or think

Trumbo Release dates: 6th November 2015 (U.S.), 22nd January 2016 (U.K.)

THE GAMBLER (2015): Trailer Of The Week

The Gambler (2015), Mark Wahlberg, John Goodman

I really do enjoy the art of a great trailer. Sometimes even more so than the films they’re for. I haven’t seen many good ones in the last few months. Luckily, here’s one I love.

Such super editing must always be highlighted, I’m sure you agree.

The Gambler Release Dates: December 25th, 2025…
