Directed by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, Leatherface is a prequel to the  The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, a 1974 horror movie about a chainsaw wielding psycho killer. 

Starring Lili Taylor, Stephen Dorff and Nicole Andrews, this new film introduces us to teenage Leatherface, who escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates, kidnaps a young nurse and takes her on a road trip from hell.

I’m curious about this one because I remember watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie and not hating it.

If my memory serves me well, the film stood out more for the humour rather than any moments that may have terrified me. Nevertheless, I’ll of course take the necessary preventative measures against nightmares; I’ll watch Leatherface in broad daylight… like the proud lover of restful sleep that I am.
