State Like Sleep is a new drama starring Katherine Waterston. Waterston plays a woman dealing with the consequences of her celebrity husband’s double life following his suicide.
Written / directed by Meredith Danluck, Michiel Huisman, Luke Evans and Michael Shannon costar…
I don’t completely like this trailer edit, partly because it’s too jumpy. Still, it’s the mystery that has me interested.
Rachel Wilson, Mark O’Brien, George Tchortov and Mary Kay Place also star.
In the Suzi Ewing directed 10×10, Luke Evans plays a desperate man seeking vengeance, so he kidnaps a woman (Kelly Reilly) in broad daylight to extract the truth about a dark past secret…
I’m an Evans fan and I just want to find out what the kidnapped woman did to drive an outwardly ordinary looking man to the desperate lengths in this trailer.
Noel Clarke, Jason Maza and Olivia Chenery also star.
The last time Disney had a live action movie made of one of their fairy tales, I was beyond thrilled. Thrilled with the trailer, thrilled with the cast list and absolutely delighted with the end result. The movie I’m talking about is of course, Kenneth Branagh’sCinderella (2015).
For me personally, Cinderella was always going to be a hard act to follow. Bill Condon’s Beauty & The Beast is a movie I was also looking forward to. However, to be fair, Beauty & The Beast doesn’t quite have the likes of acting queen Cate Blanchett on the cast list. So you can imagine that my enthusiasm just wasn’t the same. Additionally, the acting and singing weren’t bad but as a non-fan of musicals, all the singing probably didn’t help me appreciate the film more. I really did enjoy the romance towards the end and I think the movie was alright, overall. Without a doubt though, my preference is certainly Cinderella. I imagine that big fans of Beauty & The Beast rather enjoyed this remake of the fairy tale about a monstrous-looking prince and a young woman who fall in love. Maybe they even loved it as much as I did Cinderella.
I understand that Aladdin is coming next. I’ll of course eventually watch it even though it is a musical.
Professor Marston & The Wonder Women (2017), Rebecca Hall, Luke Evans
Written and directed by Angela Robinson, Professor Marston & The Wonder Women is the story of the unconventional life of Dr. William Marston; a Harvard psychologist and inventor who helped invent the modern lie detector test and in 1941 created Wonder Woman…
Dr. Marston was intriguingly unconventional and seventy six years ago he created the character in 2017’s biggest blockbuster movie. So, of course I have to watch. Especially considering how very promising and interesting this trailer looks.
Lastly, how beautiful is the music in this trailer.
Starring Dan Stevens as Prince Adam / Beast, Emma Watson as Belle and Luke Evans as Gaston, the new Beauty & The Beast trailer is finally here…
I’ll be watching this simply because I love the animated version. Interestingly though, I don’t currently sense the magical feel the live action version of Cinderella (2015) gave me after I watched that specific trailer. May the magic be there with the finished product of this new adaptation.
Starring Emma Watson, Luke Evans, Ewan McGregor and Dan Stevens, 2017 is the year for another live action movie version of a classic Disney fairytale. This time it’s Beauty & The Beast…
I already love the music and visuals in this beautiful tease of trailer. I also wouldn’t mind staying in that palace for a day or many. Preferably many, many day.
Based on the book by Paula Hawkins, a mystery/ thriller is what we can expect from Emily Blunt and Justin Theroux’s latest movie, The Girl On The Train…
There’s just a little bit of a Gone Girl (2014)vibe about this one and that, I must say, is not a bad thing.
Something peculiar and featuring very promising cinematography is coming and it’s called High-Rise…
Starring Tom Hiddleston, Sienna Miller, Jeremy Irons and Luke Evans, High-Rise is a film about life veering out of control for the residents of a tower block / high rise building. The cinematography, editing and mysterious happenings in this trailer has me curious. I’m hoping that all my guesses about what it could all possibly mean are proven incorrect upon viewing.
