I’d call this the ‘final’ Respect trailer, but that would be silly. There’s at least 2 more to go, probably. I’m not necessarily complaining because I do like this edit.

Starring Jennifer Hudson, Tate Donovan, Mary J. Blige, Marc Maron, Forest Whitaker and Marlon Wayans; Respect, the life story of Aretha Franklin is directed by Liesl Tommy.

I’m excited to watch the young Franklin grow up to find her voice, and see the kindness of the people who helped her along the way. I also can’t wait to expereinec the way Franklin’s most iconic song, Respect came to life. Especially after having seen how beautifully the inception of Elton John’s ‘Your Song‘ is captured in Rocketman (2019).

Bring on the music and great performances, because I’m ready for my appreciation for Franklin, Hudson and everyone else involved to grow.

Lodric D. Collins, Joshua Mikel, Marc Maron, Jamaal Burcher, Tituss Burgess, Victoria Paige Watkins and Saycon Sengbloh also star.

Respect Release Dates: August 13th, 2021 (US); September 10th, 2021 (UK)…

A month and a half after the teaser, the full trailer for the highly anticipated Amy Winehouse documentary has arrived.

Like many, I’m looking forward to finally seeing the complete film. Nevertheless, I do know that when it’s finally released, I’ll have to wait to be in the right mood before watching , because it’s undoubtedly going to be emotional.

Amy is the Asif Kapadia directed documentary about the late Singer /Songwriter Amy Winehouse, and her tragic passing in 2011 at the 27.

Such a well-scored, edited and haunting trailer,

Another promising teaser that adds to the reasons why 2015 is one of the best years in film in a long time.

Something tells me this will break our hearts, but it will be worthwhile.

The red band trailer for F. Gary Gray’s biography of rap group N.W.A’s Straight Outta Compton (2015) has landed.

Focused on the emergence of the group (ranked number 83 by Rolling Stone, on their list of the ‘100 Greatest Artists of All Time.’), fans of N.W.A’s music will be very happy indeed if the highly anticipated trailer is anything to go by.

Thankfully, due to involvement from founding members, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, original N.W.A music will be featured and performed.
