Always Be My Maybe is a new comedy starring Ali Wong, Randall Park, Keanu Reeves and Daniel Dae Kim.

Directed by Nahnatchka Khan, it’s the story of childhood sweethearts who reconnect after they fell out fifteen years ago. Except now, one of them is a celebrity chef and the other a happily struggling musician who lives at home working for his dad.

I’m definitely ready for the humour, sights of San Francisco, Keanu Reeves in a comedy role, what is possibly a great soundtrack and a story about a woman living her best life; professionally at least.

I’m quite sure that I’m not the only one who was ‘mouth wide open surprised’ and very happy when Reeves showed up at the end.

Charlyne Yi, Miya Cech, Susan Park, Karan Soni, Marcella Bragio, Ashley Liao, Karen Holness and James Saito also star.

Directed by Chad Stahelski, Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry and Jason Mantzoukas are among the stars of John Wick – Chapter 3 – Parabellum.

This time, the Super-assassin has become the target of hit men and women everywhere, thanks to the $14 million price tag on his head. That sort of thing tends to happen when you’re on the run because you killed a member of the international assassin’s guild.

I can’t wait to see just how fun Stahelski can make this instalment because I’m expecting lots of badass fight sequences, and bullets flying around at all times.

There’s also the cinematography; I love the colours, the moment on the horse, Halle Berry’s entrance and how well her character teams up with Wick towards the end.

Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Robin Lord Taylor and Lance Reddick also star.

Directed by  Jeffrey Nachmanoff, Replicas stars Keanu Reeves as a scientist determined to bring back his wife and children who died in a traffic accident.

Other key cast includes Alice Eve, Emily Alyn Lind and Thomas Middleditch.

More than the story, and even though I’m far from a scientist, I find myself most interested in the cloning process and what Eve’s character felt as she realised something wasn’t quite right.

John Ortiz, Emjay Anthony, Nyasha Hatendi, Amber Townsend, Amber Rivera and Aria Lyric Leabu also star.

In To the Bone, which stars Lily Collins, Keanu Reeves, Carrie Preston and Liana Liberato, Collins plays a young woman dealing with anorexia. A woman for whom hope comes in the shape of an unconventional doctor (Keanu Reeves).

I’m interested to take in what this movie has to say about anorexia and how it says it.

If I’m really honest, though, another big reason I’ll tune in is because I loved Carrie Preston’s character (Elsbeth Tascioni) in the hit drama series The Good Wife (2009 – 2016) and I’m curious to see her in what looks like a very different type of role.

Written/directed by Marti Noxon, To the Bone also stars Lili Taylor, Brooke Smith and Hana Hayes.
