Buffaloed (2019), Jai Courtney, Zoey Deutch, Magnolia Pictures & Magnet Releasing

Buffaloed is the story of Peg Dahl (Zoey Deutch), a homegrown hustler who will do anything to escape Buffalo, NY; and she’ll start by getting into the underworld of debt-collecting.

Directed by Tanya Wexler; additional key cast includes Judy Greer and Jai Courtney.

This looks a little like The Wolf Of Wall Street (2013) but minus the drugs and with a little less masculinity. I find myself curious about the amount of energy Deutch had to bring each day to deliver this character.

Noah Reid, Jayne Eastwood, Lusia Strus, Jermaine Fowler, Alex Harrouch, Elena Khan, Brian Sacca, Raymond Ablack, Casey Hudecki, James M. Connor, Kate Moyer and Paulyne Wei also star.

From Writer/director Wayne Roberts, The Professor is a new comedy/drama about a professor’s new approach to life after he’s diagnosed with a terminal illness.

Johnny Depp, Zoey Deutch, Rosemarie DeWitt and Ron Livingston are among the key cast.

So far, I can’t say that I’m a fan of the edit of this rather long trailer. But it is Johnny Depp, and I’d like for the finished product to be engaging and amusing.

Is it just me who feels that the title ‘The Professor’ is a tad incomplete? I mean, as wrong as it may be, the word ‘Nutty‘ just keeps popping up as the missing piece. Can’t think why.

Justine Warrington, Danny Huston, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, Paloma Kwiatkowski, Odessa Young, and Michael Kopsa also star.

The Professor Release Dates: May 17th, 2019 (US)…
