Bomb City is a crime/drama about the cultural aversion of a group of punk rockers in a conservative Texas town. Their ongoing battle with a rival, more-affluent clique leads to a controversial hate crime that questions the morality of American justice.

I’m intrigued because it’s based on a true story, and this trailer is well-made. If I’m honest, though, a part of me doesn’t want to see Bomb City because it’s so dark that it’ll likely change my mood for at least a few hours post-viewing. Additionally, a scene in this trailer reminds me of one of the most terrifying things about Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals (2016).
Maybe the right mood will hit, and I’ll watch this anyway, especially if it’s a sunny day, and because I want to see some good courtroom action.
