Will Arnett, Ben Schwartz, Geraldine Viswanathan and Terry Crews are the cast of Rumble. An animated comedy set in a world where monster wrestling is a global sport and monsters are superstar athletes.
Directed by Hamish Grieve; Viswanathan is teenager Winnie who decides to coach a loveable underdog monster (Arnett) so he can become the new champion.
It’s definitely Arnett’s voice and the humour that are the main reasons I want to see this. Hopefully the story will be a great too.
Jimmy Tatro, Tony Danza, Fred Melamed, Joe Anoa’i, Rebecca Quin, Michael Buffer and Stephen A. Smith also star.
Fans of Batman, especially Batman from the Lego Movie (2014) will be very happy about today’s trailer…
Comic Con Trailer
Directed by Chris McKay; the movie stars Will Arnett, Mariah Carey, Zach Galifianakis, Rosario Dawson, Michael Cera and Ralph Fiennes. I’m sure there’ll be no surprise about what to expect plot-wise, of course. Though, it’s really the humour I’m most interested in.
I’m not even particularly passionate about cooking but Ratatouille is very much ‘up there’ as one of the best animated movies. Considering that it comes from the same family that created the Toy Story films, this should be no surprise.
Who can resist the beautiful tale of a rat with an all-consuming passion for cooking?
Now, I’m not suddenly saying that I like rats. I find the real life furry, long tailed beasts absolutely terrifying. But the magic of animation means that the most seemingly hideous beasts can be made to look more beautiful than anyone could’ve ever imagined.
As you can see from these pictures, there’s cuteness, definitely plenty of cuteness. Cuteness mixed in with comedy and the occasional action sequence, making for a super animated fantasy adventure.
Ratatouille is an inspirational tale. The sort with the types of positive, encouraging and lifting messages I’m sure I’ll never tire of hearing.
