In Winchester – The House That Ghosts Built, Helen Mirren is an eccentric firearm heiress who believes that she’s being haunted by the souls of people killed by the Winchester repeating rifle. Jason Clarke and Sarah Snook also star, while Peter and Michael Spierig write/direct.
For some reason, it crossed my mind after watching this trailer that there may be an interesting twist in this story.
I’m into this because it’s Mirren, and I’m hoping that the horrors are more like those in Crimson Peak (2015) rather than something that will result in nightmares for me. What do you think?

The Movie My Life 
The factory is supposedly haunted by the ghosts of those killed by the rifles (but I think that is politcally driven BS…) and the actual mansion the film is based on is supposed to be super haunted. This needs to be in theaters THIS WEEKEND! Perfect for Halloween… Oh well
You’re probably right about the political element. I look forward to seeing how the story turns out. I know, right? It’s always cruel when we get the trailer instead of the movie during times when releasing the movie makes so much sense for audiences.
Oh, and being a Lions Gate production, you can bet these will be nightmare inducing scares 😉
