Trailer 1 of The Hunger Games – Mocking Jay Part 2 arrives and it’s clear that the makers had the word ‘epic.’ in mind.

Huge fans of the franchise will be overjoyed and might even scream. I’m not the biggest fan so I didn’t, but I’s fully understand.

The Hunger Games – Mocking Jay Part 2 Release Dates: November 18th, 2015 (US); November 19th, 2015 (UK)…

THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 2 (2015): A Second Teaser Trailer

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 (2015), Jennifer Lawrence

After last month’s release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 teaser trailer, I thought we’d see approximately 2 more trailers before the November release date. Not so, because here comes, yes, another teaser.

No one is going to blame you if the following thoughts went through your head as you watched.

  1. Whose music video is this?
  2. Really? Another teaser?
  3. Ok. I want that red suit!
  4. Is white really the best colour for combat gear?

Before deciding to patiently (not so patiently) wait for November, you first need to stop imagining the people in white performing a very impressive street dance routine and Katniss Everdeen lip synching lyrics that include the words, ‘red’, ‘white’ and ‘unite’.

Good luck with that.

FANTASTIC FOUR (2015): May The Movie Live Up To Its Name

How did I not feature the Fantastic Four trailer sooner? Slight super hero movie fatigue perhaps.

Whatever the answer, I’m doing it now because it is rather well done. My favourite moment being when Reed Richards/ Mr. Fantastic looks up and down to his right. Isn’t slow motion a beautiful thing?

With some of the most talented actors of young Hollywood, Fantastic Four is an interesting super hero movie about – you guessed it, saving humanity. This new reboot is directed by Josh Trank and stars Miles Teller, Michael B Jordan, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell.

Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Sam Claflin, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson, the trailer for the final instalment of The Hunger Games films is here.

In this Francis Lawrence-directed finale, one thing is clear, President Snow’s reign must end.

I really do hope that it’s a spectacle as exciting as can be.

Also, how true is the idea that President Snow is probably the worst possible Santa Claus anyone could ever imagine?

Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland and Julianne Moore also star.

EX MACHINA (2015): Vikander’s Portrayal Will Leave You Wanting More…

Ex Machina (2015), Alicia Vikander
Ex Machina (2015), Alicia Vikander

Ex Machina comes from writer/director, Alex Garland, and stars the talented Alicia Vikander, Domhnall Gleeson and Oscar Isaac.

I honestly don’t want to say too much about this rather note-worthy film, except that you should watch it because you’ll have no regrets afterwards. Ex Machina is a sci-fi drama about artificial intelligence. It’s a film with three key characters, one of whom is a beautiful and very smart female A.I.

Ex Machina is well-written and delivers many tension-filled moments to keep you locked in; moments that happen to be brilliantly partnered with just the right musical score.

You will get to the end and want to know immediately when the sequel is coming. Sadly, I don’t have the answer to that question. Nor do I have any knowledge of whether a sequel is even planned. But, surely, live in hope, we must.

Happy Film Loving,
