Directed by Louis Leterrier, The Last House follows a family of four who suddenly find themselves sealed inside their home and unable to leave.

Starring Wagner Moura, Greta Lee, and Sid Edwards, the family must work together to survive as their resources dwindle and they face the mysterious, looming threat that keeps them inside.

I have so many thoughts about what’s really going on here. Initially, this trailer gave strong A Quiet Place (2018) and The End of Oak Street (2026) vibes.

But then, when I saw the bears. It suddenly looked like Mother Nature may just be fighting back. How exciting if that were true.

As a big fan of Moura and Lee, this one is a must. What do you think?

It’s time for the third instalment of the Angry Birds movies. Starring Jason Sudeikis, Keke Palmer, Lily James and Emma Myers, this time Red faces his biggest challenge yet,’ being a dad, while also saving the world.

The Angry Birds Movie 3 is directed by John Rice.

I remember enjoying the first two films. This too looks like it’s going to be close to equally fun /funny and cute.

Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Sam Richardson, Tim Robinson, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rachel Bloom, Walker Scobell, Marcello Hernández, Anna Cathcart, MrBeast and Anthony Padilla also star.

HEART OF THE BEAST (2026): New Trailer From Brad Pitt, J.K. Simmons, Anna Lambe…

Heart of the Beast is the latest David Ayer-directed action/adventure/thriller starring Brad Pitt.

It’s the story of a Special Forces officer and his combat dog, as they try to survive the Alaskan wilderness following a terrifying plane crash.

I’m into it because it’s Pitt and I do love that Ayer is responsible for End of Watch (2012), one of my favourite films. Yet, I don’t know how much I want to see the survival struggle.

Perhaps I’ll leave this one to the adventurers, the veterans, serious dog lovers and those most excited by the premise.

At first, I was impressed by Father Mother Sister Brother, the latest Adam Driver, Cate Blanchett, and Mayim Bialik comedy/drama about unresolved tensions between estranged siblings.

A specific thought that entered my mind before things took a turn for the worse was, ‘I love how not much is happening, yet it’s so very engrossing, likely thanks to the writing, visuals, editing, and cinematography.‘

Sadly, that feeling didn’t last. Just before the thirty-minute mark, I chose happiness and aborted the mission.

Patience is not my strongest virtue, and even though the subtly humorous moments I saw were well written and acted, writer/director Jim Jarmusch’s film moved far too slowly for my tastes. Making his movie unlike the kind of ‘ slow burns’ I find satisfying, such as The Good Nurse (2022).

Did you watch Father Mother Sister Brother and have a good time? Maybe I’m missing out, but right now, I find myself unbothered.

Give Father Mother Sister Brother a chance if you’re curious. After all, the trailer was so very promising.

Jon Hamm, Toby Huss, Larry David and Isla Fisher are among the key cast.

A resounding yes to more of David’s brand of madness. In this way, even though the great characters, Jeff, Marty, Cheryl, Leon, Ted and Richard, are nowhere in sight, it feels like his award-winning comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm never ended.

J.B. Smoove, Anna Osceola, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Susie Essman, Emily McEnroe, Jake Reiner, Joe Rocketshoes Dillon, Jeremy Shouldis, Aaron Latta-Morissette and Katherine hahn also star.
