Popular animated TV series SpongeBob SquarePants has a new movie coming called The SpongeBob Movie – Sponge On The Run.

Directed by  Tim Hill, this third SpongeBob film stars Keanu Reeves, Awkwafina, Clancy Brown and Lori Alan.

I never religiously watched SpongeBob Squarepants while growing up, but I have always been quite curious.

Maybe Keanu Reeves’s involvement will finally get me to learn about why it’s so loved.

Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Mr. Lawrence, Mary Jo Catlett, Rodger Bumpass, Jill Talley, Carolyn Lawrence and Veronica Alicino also star.

Jason Clarke, Kate Mara and Ed Helms are the stars of Chappaquiddick, the John Curran-directed biography of Ted Kennedy’s life and political career.

Kennedy’s career and life became derailed after his involvement in a fatal car accident that killed a young campaign strategist named Mary Jo Kopechne.

I’m intrigued because I want to see Clarke in a leading role, and Helms excel in a dramatic, non-comedic one. Two great reasons, if you ask me.

In Stronger, which is based on a true story, Jake Gyllenhaal plays Jeff Bauman, a victim of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.

While struggling to recover from the devastating trauma, he helps the police track down the killers. Stronger is directed by David Gordon Green and also stars Tatiana Maslany, Miranda Richardson and Clancy Brown.

I want to and will watch this because Jake Gyllenhaal is super, and director David Gordon Green also directed one of my favourite films, Pineapple Express (2008).

Also, I kind of don’t want to see it because a) I just saw plenty in the trailer, and b) I don’t want to watch too many movies that make me cry a lot. I’m a sensitive soul, you understand, and tears can be draining.
