PRACTICAL MAGIC 2 (2026): New Trailer From Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Joey King, Lee Pace…

In Practical Magic 2, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return as two witch sisters cursed with never finding lasting love.

This long-awaited sequel to Practical Magic (1998) has the sisters on a mission to confront dark secrets and sacrifice for each other in an attempt to change their fates.

Directed by Susanne Bier, additional key cast includes Dianne Wiest, Maisie Williams, Stockard Channing and Liz Kingsman.

I don’t remember whether or not I’ve watched Practical Magic, the original film, but I’ll happily do it so I can take in the fun that this new sequel seems to promise.

The premise is quite compelling. Naturally, I’ll be wanting to see the curse lifted and to watch Bullock and Kidman have fun performing together.

Have you seen the 1998 Practical Magic?

Xolo Maridueña, Solly McLeod, John Polivka, Daniel Eghan, Tammy Appenzellar, Christopher Moore and Matthew Charlery-Smith also star.

Practical Magic 2 Release Dates: September 11th, 2026 (US)…

Read my spoiler-free movie review of The Running Man (2025)

Glen Powell, Colman Domingo, Jayme Lawson and Lee Pace are the stars of The Running Man, a new sci-fi/action/thriller directed by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver (2017).

Based on a novel by Stephen King, Powell plays a desperate man who joins a game show. One where contestants can go anywhere in the world, while pursued by people hired to kill them.

At first, I feared this might be too similar to previous movies like John Q (2002) and Jake Gyllenhaal’s Ambulance (2022). I’m pleased to see I was mostly wrong.

In fact, as someone who loves well-paced chase sequences, this looks quite promising. Perhaps I’ll finally have a favourite Glen Powell movie. Which one’s yours?

I’m now also wondering which will be better, this retelling or the original 1987 movie of the same name starring Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Josh Brolin, Michael Cera, William H. Macy, David Zayas, Emilia Jones, Karl Glusman, Sean Hayes, Katy O’Brian, Sophie Simnett, George Carroll, Joey Ansah and Daniel Ezra also star.

The Running Man Release Dates: November 7th, 2025 (US & UK)…

Naomi Watts, Jacob Tremblay, Sarah Silverman and Jaeden Lieberher are the stars of The Book Of Henry, the Colin Trevorrow-directed movie about a single mother raising a genius child. But wait.  There’s more.

I’m intrigued because of the genius child and seemingly regular mother dynamic.  I also can’t wait for the police commissioner to get what’s coming to him.

The Book Of Henry Release Dates: June 16th, 2017 (US)…
