M. Night Shyamalan has a new thriller called Old, and it stars Rufus Sewell, Gael García Bernal, Alex Wolff and Thomasin McKenzie.

Getting older is scary enough. But for the process to be rushed by what looks like a decade within a day, that sounds super scary. I really hope this turns out great.

Embeth Davidtz, Eliza Scanlen, Abbey Lee, Alex Wolff, Ken Leung, Vicky Krieps, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Emun Elliott, Kathleen Chalfant, Matthew Shear, Alexa Swinton and Aaron Pierre also star.

The cast and the hope of seeing a well executed story that features key characters from Unbreakable (2000) and Split (2016) come together… that’s why I’m in.

Anya Taylor-Joy, Sarah Paulson, Luke Kirby, Charlayne Woodard, Spencer Treat Clark and Rob Yang also star.

Split, the new horror/ thriller starring James McAvoy and Anya Taylor Joy is from writer / director M. Night Shyamalan, better known for the impressive The Sixth Sense (1999).

Usually I’d be certain to stay away from scary movies but in this one, McAvoy will be portraying at least 23 characters / personalities…

Word is out that Anya Taylor Joy is quite the talent. So it may be time for me to experience one of her movies instead of only getting as far as the trailer because it looks too scary. Someone recommended that I start with The Witch (2015), they don’t know me well enough. Morgan (2016), is as scary as I’m willing to go at this point.
