Written and directed by Aaron Schimberg, the story follows Edward (Sebastian Stan), a man who is fixated on an actor cast in a play about Edward’s former life – before he underwent facial reconstructive surgery.

Renate Reinsve and Adam Pearson also star in this promising new comedy/horror/thriller, A Different Man.

What an interesting premise; having been so unhappy with one’s appearance that drastic action is taken to change it. Only everything doesn’t quite go as planned – and in the most unexpected way.

I’m excited about the comedy, how it will all be resolved, plus, Stan and Pearson’s performances.

Miles G. Jackson, Marc Geller, Neal Davidson, Patrick Wang, James Foster Jr., Billy Griffith, JJ McGlone, Corey R. Taylor and C. Mason Wells also star.

Sebastian Stan, Denise Gough and Dominique Tipper are the stars of new drama/romance, Monday.

Directed by Argyris Papadimitropoulos; Monday is the story of Chloe (Gough) and Mickey (Stan); a couple  who meet in the heat of summer one whirlwind weekend in Athens, Greece. The kind of meeting that results in a fling, which then leads to Chloe deciding to give up her high flying job back home.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t drawn to this in large part because of the sunny destination. It also helps that Stan is the star and I am curious to see if they make it. Especially considering what Chloe gave up.

Dominique Tipper, Yorgos Pirpassopoulos, Elli Tringou, Andreas Konstantinou, Sofia Kokkali, Syllas Tzoumerkas, Chloe Sirene, Marisha Triantafyllidou, Orlando Seale, Julie Agoraki and Prometheus Aleifer also star.

Jessica Chastain, Sebastian Stan, Lupita Nyong’o, Penélope Cruz and Diane Kruger are the stars of new Simon Kinberg directed thriller, The 355.

A spy movie about five women working together to stop a global organisation from acquiring a weapon that could thrust the world into total chaos.

First of all, is it just me or does Lupita’s outfit in teh above photo suggest Harry Potter?

Secondly, what a lovely mix of talent. I’m excited to see what the group chemistry is like and hoping to enjoy this more than I did Chastain’s last movie, Ava (2020).

Edgar Ramírez, Bingbing Fan, Jason Wong, Leo Staar, Raphael Acloque, Hiten Patel, Wong Charlie, Evie Wray, Toby Sauerback and Francisco Labbe also star.

Read my spoiler-free movie review of The Devil All the Time (2020).

Directed and co-written by  Antonio Campos, The Devil All The Time is a new drama/thriller starring Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan and Bill Skarsgård.

Set in the 1960s after World War II, in Southern Ohio, the story is set in a time when compelling, bizarre, and mentally disturbed people suffer from the war’s psychological damages.

I’m in for the incredibly creepy character played by Pattinson, the interesting premise and because this trailer looks very promising indeed.

Harry Melling, Haley Bennett, Riley Keogh, Eliza Scanlen, Mia Wasikowska, Jason Clarke, Douglas Hodge, and Abby Glover also star.

Set over the course of one year, new drama Endings, Beginnings focuses on a 30-something-year-old woman (Shailene Woodley) as she navigates through love and heartbreak.

Directed by Drake Doremus of Like Crazy (2011); additional key cast includes Jamie Dornan and Sebastian Stan.

Something tells me that in the end, she’s going to choose herself. Whatever the choice, may the journey towards the decision be an interesting and engaging watch.

I can just imagine huge Dornan and Stan fans feeling completely spoilt with this one. And to them, I say, ‘calm yourselves!’ All in jest of course.

Matthew Gray Gubler, Lindsay Sloane, Kelly Albanese, Shamier Anderson, Luke Baybak, Lola Blanc, Janice LeAnn Brown, Garrett Coffey and Sherry Cola also star.
