Cherry is the latest crime/drama starring Tom Holland, Jack Reynor, Ciara Bravo and Kelli Berglund.

Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo of Marvel’s Avengers movies; Cherry is the story of an Army medic with post-traumatic stress disorder who becomes a serial bank robber, after his drug addiction puts him in debt.

I’m curious about this; for reasons including a bank robber not wanting to be rude to ladies. Though, admittedly, I can’t deny that I was hoping to be more excited about this movie after seeing the full trailer, but I’m not.

Another movie about a polite/gentleman bank robber that comes to mind is Robert Redford’s The Old Man & The Gun  (2018).

Do you find yourself intrigued by Cherry? It’s OK if you just want to know why the movie is titled Cherry?

Directed and co-written by  Antonio Campos, The Devil All The Time is a new drama/thriller starring Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan and Bill Skarsgård.

Set in the 1960s after World War II in Southern Ohio; compelling, bizarre, and mentally disturbed people suffer from the war’s psychological damages.

I’m in for the incredibly creepy character played by Pattinson, the intriguing premise and the fact that this trailer looks very promising indeed.

Harry Melling, Haley Bennett, Riley Keogh, Eliza Scanlen, Mia Wasikowska, Jason Clarke, Douglas Hodge, and Abby Glover also star.

Dolittle, the Stephen Gaghan directed fantasy / comedy about a physician (Robert Downey Jr.) who discovers he can to talk to animals has a brand new trailer.

Additional key cast includes Kumail Nanjiani, Tom Holland, Antonio Banderas…

Perhaps it’s the music. Maybe it’s Downey Jr. Wait! it’s got to be the animals, right?

What am I saying? Clearly it’s all three things that made me strangely emotional as I watched this trailer. Looking forward to being moved and seeing how different things might be if we really could talk with animals.

Also, I’m definitely really looking forward to Nanjiani as the ostrich.

The animals and Downey Jr’s talents are why I’m interested – and naturally, I’ll of course be comparing this to the 1998 version starring Eddie Murphy.

The two moons at 01:33 into this trailer have me intrigued; the same with the idea of usually majestic unicorns as ‘vermin.’

I can’t wait to see how this story about a world of imaginary creatures such as pixies, mermaids, gnomes, unicorns and pet dragons actually unfolds.

I definitely noticed the unflappable confidence on Lance Sterling’s face throughout this trailer. I’ll see this one because of Smith and to find out if Sterling ever brakes a sweat, looks concerned or even a little scared.

I find this trailer somewhat over stylised. Nevertheless, there’s just too much impressive talent involved. And I definitely don’t just mean the actors. I can’t wait to see how people battled for market share back then compared to the tech giants of today.

I wonder if The Current War will come close to replacing The imitation Game (2014) as my favourite Benedict Cumberbatch movie. I think not but I’m open to pleasant surprises.
