I’m not particularly into archeology but the cast is good; James (My favourite Cinderella (2015) and Mulligan who’s simply great in everything.

Promising Young Woman is a new revenge story starring Carey Mulligan, Adam Brody, Laverne Cox and Connie Britton.

Written / directed by Emerald Fennell; Cassie (Mulligan) is traumatised because of a tragic past event and so decides to seeks vengeance against men who cross her path…

I’m mostly curious about what Mulligan will bring to the role. Something also tells me that it’s going to be interesting to see all the different excuses made by the so-called ‘nice guys.’

Clancy Brown, Jennifer Coolidge, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Molly Shannon, Angela Zhou, Sam Richardson, Steve Monroe, Alison Brie, Max Greenfield and Alfred Molina also star.

Promising Young Woman Release Dates: December 25th, 2020 (US)…

Wildlife (2018), Jake Gyllenhaal

Directed and co-written by Paul Dano, Wildlife, set in 1960s Montana is the story of  a sixteen year-old boy who witnesses his parents’ marriage falling apart after his mother finds another man.

The Excellent cast includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Carey Mulligan, Bill Camp, Ed Oxenbould…

I’m always happy to see Gyllenhaal on a cast list; so much so in fact that I was a little disappointed to not hear his voice at all in this trailer. Nevertheless, this looks pretty good and Mulligan is great.

I of course couldn’t help but think of Revolutionary Road (2008) as this trailer played. Blame the general look, feel and arguments.

Wildlife Release Dates: November 9th, 2018 (UK)…

MUDBOUND (2017): New Trailer From Garrett Hedlund, Carey Mulligan, Mary J. Blige, Jason Mitchell…

Mudbound (2017), Garrett Hedlund

Garrett Hedlund, Carey Mulligan, Mary J. Blige and Jason Mitchell are the stars of director, Dee Rees’s latest, Mudbound. Hedlund and Mitchell play two men who are back home from World War II to work on a farm in rural Mississippi. The men struggle to deal with racism and adjusting to life after war…

My guess would be that PTSD is more or less the same for war veterans now – as it was back then. I can’t wait to find out in this movie. The beautiful friendship and how Rees handles the challenges both men face are additional reasons I’ll be watching. Also, Garrett Hedlund starring in a promising movie… I’ve looked forward to this day. I really have. I’ve also been hearing the name ‘Dee Rees’ for a few weeks now. It’s time I found out why.

Lastly, Carey Mulligan is back! Yeah! – for she’s one of my favourites.

Mudbound Release Dates: November 17th, 2017 (US)…

At least three of my favourite Actresses are in Suffragette, June’s first trailer of the week.

Starring Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter and Meryl Streep, I’m almost certain that this film is going to be great…

I am very much looking forward to watching and honouring the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement.
