Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Jesse Plemons and Jack Whitehall are the stars of Jungle Cruise, a new fantasy/adventure based on Disneyland’s theme park ride.

A ride where a small riverboat takes a group of travellers through a jungle filled with dangerous animals, reptiles, and there’s some supernatural activity.

This looks like quite a fun cross between Tarzan and Jumanji. Also, just yesterday I was thinking, ‘I haven’t seen Emily Blunt in a while.’ And now, just like that. Here she is. Happy me!

Paul Giamatti, Edgar Ramírez, Veronica Falcón, Andy Nyman, Raphael Alejandro, Mark Ashworth and Quim Gutiérrez also star.

Jungle Cruise Release Dates: July 30th, 2021 (US)…

Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart and Jack Black return for Jumanji – The Next Level, a sequel to 2017’s rather popular Jumanji – Welcome To The Jungle.

Directed by Jake Kasdan, this time when the friends are back in Jumanji, the team realise that things are quite different within the world’s most dangerous game.

This looks as though it’ll be fun. I like the twist and look forward to more of Hart speaking like Danny Glover.

Madison Iseman, Awkwafina, Danny DeVito, Colin Hanks, Alex Wolff, Nick Jonas, Danny Glover, Ser’Darius Blain and Rhys Darby also star.

Jumanji – The Next Level Release Dates: December 13th, 2019 (US)…

In Fast & Furious Presents – Hobbs & Shaw, a spinoff of The Fate Of The Furious, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham’s characters, Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw form an unlikely alliance.

Directed by David Leitch, Fast & Furious Presents – Hobbs & Shaw also stars Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby and Joe Anoa’i.

I just really want to find out how well this spinoff and the chemistry between Johnson and Statham will work out. So far, based on this trailer, it’s looking like fun.

Fast & Furious Presents – Hobbs & Shaw Release Dates: August 2nd, 2019 (US & UK)…

FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY (2019): New Trailer From Dwayne Johnson, Florence Pugh, Vince Vaughn, Nick Frost…

In Fighting With My Family, a former wrestler whose kids dream of joining World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) are given the opportunity of a lifetime.

Written/directed by Stephen Merchant, this is the true story of  Saraya-Jade Bevis, a.k.a. former WWE wrestler Paige.

Key cast includes Dwayne Johnson, Florence Pugh, Vince Vaughn and Nick Frost.

At first I wasn’t sure about this, but then the humour came and I realised that Dwayne was playing himself. Another element I’m drawn to is the sister’s journey after she gets picked.

Lastly, I’m curious about Merchant as a feature film director.

Hannah Rae, Paul Wight, Kim Matula, Jack Lowden and Stephen Merchant also star.

Fighting My Family Release Dates: March 1st, 2019 (UK & US)…

SKYSCRAPER (2018): A Good Dwayne Johnson Movie? (No Spoilers Commentary/Review)

Skyscraper Commentary / Review, TheMovieMyLife
Skyscraper Commentary / Review, TheMovieMyLife

I’m back at it guys! I’ve had a long break from making YouTube videos but I’m certainly glad to be back.

It worked out that Dwayne Johnson’s Skyscraper would be the movie to mark my return, especially since, as per my original non-video Skyscraper review,  I enjoyed it far more than I expected to. I’ve actually heard that the plot is super similar to Bruce Willis’s Die Hard. I haven’t watched Die Hard for so long that I barely recall the plot. Are people right? Here is the short video.
