If you’re familiar with Valentine’s Day (2010) and New Years Eve (2011), then you have a pretty  good idea of what you’re in for with Mother’s Day, the latest film from the director of all three movies, Garry Marshall.

Starring Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Jason Sudeikis and Timothy Olyphant, the collision of intersecting stories on said holiday is what happens in Mother’s Day.

Having watched both of Marshall’s other two aforementioned films, both of which I found adequately entertaining, I’m expecting the same of this movie.

Jack Whitehall, Brit Robertson, Shay Mitchell and Aasif Mandvi also star.

Mother’s Day Release Dates: April 29th, 2016 (US); June 17th, 2016 (UK)…

Julia Roberts, Jack O’Connell, George Clooney and Dominic West are the stars of Money Monster, a brand new thriller directed by Jodie Foster and set on Wall Street.

I’m most excited because Roberts is always great, the movie looks good and one of my favourite young actors, Jack O’Connell is in it. Time to ready ourselves for the tense and emotional ride.

Money Monster Release Date(s): May 13th, 2016 (US); May 27th, 2016 (UK); March 31st, 2016 (Germany)…

SECRET IN THEIR EYES (2015): A Good Thriller Is On the Way, Friends. It’s On The Way

Read my spoiler-free movie review of Secret in Their Eyes (2015).

The new Billy Ray-directed mystery/thriller Secret in Their Eyes, starring Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Chiwetel Ejiofor finally has a trailer and it looks good.

The fact that two of the three lead Actors have an Oscar statue at home, and the third is Oscar-nominated is a surefire sign that this will be emotional.

I’ve deliberately omitted the synopsis because I’m sure you agree that this trailer is best enjoyed when you don’t know too much beforehand.

I can tell that you also can’t wait to see Roberts being badass.

EAT PRAY LOVE (2010): Eat & Love, Clearly The Best Parts

Eat Pray Love had to be watched because I wanted to know the story of a person who chooses to  drastically change their life because what they have no longer makes them happy.

Said woman (Liz), played by Julia Roberts decides to embark on a three part journey, travelling from Italy to India then Bali in a period of twelve months. As you can imagine, she meets many interesting people en route.

If you’ve ever been to Italy or dreamt about going, you’ll love the first part of this movie. You’ll like it because it’ll remind you of what makes travelling great and particularly, all the things to adore about Italy. Those curious about what it can mean to be on a ‘spiritual journey’ will get the most out of part two, in India.

Filipe, (Javier Bardem) and pretty much everything that comes out of his mouth is a personal highlight of the final part of this movie. I particularly like his response to Liz when she says ‘I am so sick of people telling me I need a man.

Watch it if you’re curious about what he says and life changing adventures such as the one liz chooses.
