From writer/director Zach Cregger, Weapons is a new horror/mystery/thriller about the disappearance of high school students in a small town.

Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, June Diane Raphael, Benedict Wong and Austin Abrams are among the key cast.

Undeniably creepy and terrifying are the words. Even more so, considering the very specific/strange run. Yes, I’ll likely only watch the trailers and not the movie because of the horror of it all.

Yet, I remain drawn to the mystery and strong It (2017) vibes this is giving. Whether or not I watch it, I’m intent on finding out how different It and Weapons are when compared.

The non-teaser trailer is now out, and no, I’m definitely not sitting through this movie. Still, for the true horror fans, this looks rather promising, right?

Amy Madigan, Alden Ehrenreich, Toby Huss, Melissa Ponzio, Jason Turner, Aaron Quick Nelson, Jared Simon, Jared Simon, Carl Kennedy and Khalani Simon-Barrow also star.

In new music/drama The High Note, which stars Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross, Ross is superstar singer Grace Davis.

Davis’s overworked assistant (Johnson) has a choice to make. one that could change the course of both their respective careers.

 Directed by Nisha Ganatra; additional key cast includes Bill Pullman, June Diane Raphael and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

I’m intrigued by the Grace/Maggie friendship and I’m hoping for a great standout song at the end.

I’m not sure whether Ross is doing all the singing herself, but my ears were definitely expecting a deeper singing voice than what we hear in this trailer. Especially since her speaking voice has such a pleasant soothing bass.

Eddie Izzard, Zoe Chao, Ben Lewis, Deniz Akdeniz, Rupak Ginn, Diplo, Sandra Rosko, Sonal Shah and Molly Malin also star.

Long Shot is the latest comedy starring Seth Rogen, Charlize Theron and Alexander Skarsgård.

Directed by Jonathan Levine, Rogen is Fred Flarsky, an unemployed journalist who decides to pursue his childhood crush. The only thing is, his childhood crush is Charlotte Field, one of the most powerful and unattainable women on the planet.

Rogen and Theron together on screen feels quite unexpected, yet I definitely do love them both separately so I hope this really works.

Andy Serkis, Randall Park, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aviva Mongillo, James Saito and Ravi Patel also star.

Girlfriend’s Day is a story that takes place in a world where greeting card writers are celebrated like movie stars. Romance writer Ray (Bob Odenkirk) used to be the king. However, since all good things must come to an end, and, becoming a ‘has been’ was never in his plans, Ray will do what ever it takes, including getting entangled in a web of murder and deceit to be back on top.

I’m intrigued because it looks different to what most of us can usually expect to be watching on Valentines day and the cast which also includes Natasha Lyonne and Amber Tamblyn is reliable.
