Ghostbusters (2016), Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon
A proper trailer has finally arrived for the Ghostbusters reboot. Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig are the stars.

I enjoyed the hat, wig and glasses combo. I Also liked the delivery of the slaps and MacKinon’s yellow lensed glasses. Beyond that though, I’m going to wait and see.
Also, is it just me or do the special effects seem rather dated?
I want to say that ‘here you have it, the first Ghostbusters trailer has finally landed!’ But as you’ll soon see.
It’s not all bad. The music works with the visuals. In fact, it’s really exciting at first because you think it’s leading to a moment of revelation. Only, there is no revelation. Pointless is a word that comes to mind for this teaser to a teaser trailer.
Nevertheless, I’m still excited about this reboot because it stars three great ladies of comedy; Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon. The director, Paul Feig is the man behind Bridesmaids (2011) and most recently the very entertaining Spy (2015) . As such, hope lives on.
I suppose it helps that in just over two weeks (March 3rd, 2016), we’ll have the next Ghostbusters trailer. May it be good enough to make up for the above, dare I say, ‘nonsense’.
One of the best executions of a teaser to a teaser trailer I’ve ever seen is for Deadpool (2016).
Michael Kenneth Williams and Andy Garcia also star.
Good news for Melissa McCarthy fans, for she has a new comedy trailer.
I couldn’t get through ten minutes of Tammy (2014), but I’m giving The Boss a chance because, well, how fascinating is that red wig? In all seriousness however, this trailer good and I did love Spy 2015.
Written and directed byBen Falcone, The Boss also stars Peter Dinklage and the lovely Kristen Bell, an actor I last watched and loved inStuck In Love (2012).
Watching a spy movie and not having at least one thing about it reminding you of James Bond, the most famous spy of them all is near impossible.
Starring Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law and Jason Statham, the Paul Feig written/directed Spy is no exception. Unlike 007, however, Spy is a comedy/action film – and a rather good one at that.
An entertaining experience with a well-written story, fun dialogue and characters is how I describe Spy. The dynamic between Statham and McCarthy’s characters is a big highlight. Rose Byrne’s Rayna Boyanov is also another plus.
Spy (2015), Jude Law, Rose Byrne
The other very reliable cast members include Allison Janney, Miranda Hart, Sam Richardson, Morena Baccarin and Bobby Cannavale.
Watch Spy because it’s good. I found Jude Law’s character a tad annoying at first but it’s not so bad because the movie is a Melissa McCarthy vehicle, and Spy is definitely my favourite of her roles since Bridesmaids (2011), also directed by Paul Feig.
