I tuned in to the original film, Snow White & The Huntsman (2012), because the trailer was brilliant and Charlize Theron was involved. With The Huntsman Winter’s War, the same reasons for watching apply, but with the added bonus of two more talented ladies, Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain.

A new sequel is coming, and this time it’s the next instalment of one of 2002’s most popular comedies, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Directed by Kirk Jones; it looks like all the most entertaining characters are back, but will it be at least as good as the original? I’m hoping to learn that the answer is yes.

Read my spoiler-free movie review of Hello, My Name Is Doris (2015).
I can’t be sure that I’ve ever seen Sally field play a leading role before, but I like the idea of Hello, My Name Is Doris.
As is the case for many (I’m guessing), Sally Field’s role as Mrs. Gump in Forrest Gump (1994) will forever be the one that sticks in mind when I here her name. A good thing since the movie is brilliant.
Directed by Michael Showalter, I’m expecting Hello, My Name Is Doris to be funny and, a refreshingly welcome kind of different.

A self-proclaimed Biblical archeologist played by Sam Rockwell is the protagonist in Don Verdean, a new comedy directed by Jared Hess, the same guy behind Napoleon Dynamite (2004).
I’ll be watching because of Jermaine Clement, Sam Rockwell and Danny McBride. In case you were wondering, Clement does in fact sound like Sacha Baron Cohen’s Borat (2006).

Vincent Cassel’s new movie looks very interesting.
After the above, the key question for me is, will the young boy played by Jeremy Chabriel come to see that Gregory (Cassel) was indeed right? I’m thinking, yes. But certainly not about everything.
