Directed by Guy Ritchie, Wrath of Man stars Jason Statham, Josh Hartnett, Scott Eastwood and Jeffrey Donovan in an action/thriller about H.

From writers Ivan Atkinson and Nicolas Boukhrief, H is a cold and mysterious character working at a cash truck company. A company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles every week.

Even though Ritchie isn’t the writer, I can’t wait to see his directorial style all over this. I already love the clip accompanied by exactly the right type of music when the shooting starts.

Statham and Ritchie back working together is great to see. If my memory serves me well, they last collaborated in my two favourite Ritchie movie: Locks Stock and Two Smocking Barrels (1998) plus Snatch (2000). Then there’s Hartnett, an actor I last saw Oh, Lucy (2017), a fun quirky movie.

Wrath of Man Release Dates: May 7th, 2021 (US); June 25th, 2021 (UK)…

PACIFIC RIM UPRISING (2018): New Trailer From John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Adria Arjona…

The fight to save the world from an apocalypse continues in Pacific Rim Uprising, where Jake, son of Stacker Pentecost, reunites with Mako Mori to lead a new generation of Jaeger pilots to confront the looming threat.

Directed by Steven S. DeKnight; the names Pentecost, Mako Mori and Jaeger pilots – none of these names mean anything to me, since I haven’t actually watched (Pacific Rim (2013). I am, however, contemplating rectifying that just so I can watch this new movie and listen to Boyega deliver the speech that’s partly featured in this trailer in its entirety. I had no idea there was that much beautiful bass in Boyega’s voice.

Tian Jing, Rinko Kikuchi, Burn Gorman and Charlie Day also star.

Pacific Rim Uprising Release Dates: March 23rd, 2018 (US); May 18th, 2018 (UK)…

Walk Of Fame stars Cory Hardrict, Malcolm McDowell and Scott Eastwood,  in a new comedy about struggling actors under the guidance of an eccentric acting coach.

I’ve been ready to see Eastwood in a movie I can really get behind and shout about in the best way. Who knows, Walk of Fame could be it, at last.

Laura Ashley Samuels, Jack Guzman and Eddie George also atar.

Walk Of Fame Release Dates: March 24th, 2017 (US)…

LIVE BY NIGHT (2017): New Trailer from Ben Affleck, Zoe Saldana, Elle Fanning…

Ben Affleck is director, producer and star of Live By Night, a new crime drama about the dealings of a group of people involved in organised crime during the United States prohibition era.

Based on the novel by Dennis Lehane; Zoe Saldana, Scott Eastwood, Elle Fanning and Chris Messina are just some of the talented cast.

Johnny Depp’s Public Enemies (2009) came to mind as I watched this trailer. Which will be the better movie, I wonder…

Live By Night Release Dates: January 13th 2017 (US & UK)…

SNOWDEN (2016): New Trailer From Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley…

When I first saw the teaser trailer for writer/director Oliver Stone’s new film about Edward Snowden, I was disappointed that it didn’t reveal a little more than the films title – Snowden and a few facts about the protagonist.

Teaser trailer

However, I watched the teaser again some weeks later and was reminded that just because I wanted more footage there and then, doesn’t necessarily mean that I should have had it.

Instead of being mad at the tease, my imagination did overtime as I began to picture all sorts of dramatic scenes. Scenes with dialogue as engaging as the brilliant screenwriter Aaron Sorkin’s words in The Social Network  Would’t that be fantastic?

Even if Snowden turns out to be nothing like The Social Network, all that really matters is it’s good. Just as well then that the below trailer looks mighty promising.
