Earth at Night in Color is a new Tom Hiddleston narrated Apple TV+ documentary series. One that’s offering a close look at what animals do at night. All possible thanks to the use of cutting-edge camera technology.

I’m quite impressed with the capabilities of high-tech cameras. However, I’m of course, more interested in learning precisely what the animals get up to once the sun has set.

Our narrator Mr. Hiddleston is known to enjoy the odd impression here and there; as confirmed during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show. As such when he speaks in this trailer, I keep imagining him attempting an impression of iconic broadcaster and natural historian, Sir David Attenborough. Anyone else imagining the same?

Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba are back for the next Thor movie instalment.

Directed by Taika Waititi, in Thor – Ragnarok,  Thor, the hammer-wielding god of thunder, lightning, storms, etc., must face the Incredible Hulk in a gladiator match, and save his people from the ruthless Hela (Blanchett).

I haven’t watched any Thor Movie’s since Hemsworth’s first because Thor generally isn’t my favourite Marvel superhero. However, this undeniably cool new  trailer may just have pulled me right back in.

There’s also another reason… my favourite acting queen! Cate Blanchett, of course.

Starring Tom Hiddleston, Eddie Redmayne and Maisie Williams, Early Man tells the story of how one plucky caveman unites his tribe against a mighty enemy.

Directed by Nick Park, this animation/comedy/adventure is set during the time of the dinosaurs and woolly mammoths.

I absolutely loved Chicken Run (2000). As such, I would adore it if this were as good, if not better. Especially since the same people are behind both films. Fingers, toes and everything crossed.

The full trailer for the Jordan Vogt-Roberts-directed origin story of King Kong is here.

Starring Brie Larson Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John C Reilly and Thomas Mann, the action/fantasy/adventure that is Kong – Skull Island looks good.

I like this trailer. Along with the cinematography and special effects that were first seen in the Kong – Skull Island Comic-Con trailer, I’m now also looking forward to the humour, courtesy of John C. Reilly’s character.

Corey Hawkins, Toby Kebbell and Jason Mitchell also star.

Kong – Skull Island is the latest from Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman. Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, it’s an  action adventure story focused on the origins of King Kong.

Was I ready and in need of another King Kong movie. No. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be just what I need by the time it’s released. Also, I’m definitely not at peace with the idea that humans are going to Skull Island, Kong’s home to capture and hurt him. Though, at least in this instance, one can say, it’s just a movie.

The cinematography and dynamic between Hiddleston/Larson, plus, Jackson/Goodman are very interesting. The movie also stars Corey Hawkins, John C. Reilly, Jason Mitchell and Toby Kebbell.
