Directed and co-written by Jordan Roberts, Burn Your Maps stars Vera Farmiga, Jacob Tremblay, Virginia Madsen and Marton Csokas.

Tremblay plays an eccentric 8-year-old American boy called Wes. Wes truly believes that he is a Mongolian goat herder.

What I know for sure is that Wes sure is very lucky to have a mother who has the means to help him live out his young dreams.

I look forward to finding out how this story of a young boy’s existential epiphany actually ends.

New horror/thriller Annabelle Comes Home stars Vera Farmiga, Mckenna Grace and Patrick Wilson.

At first, all is well in the home of demonologists Ed and Loraine Warren. That is, until Annabelle, a possessed doll with the power to awaken evil spirits, is let out from behind the sacred glass.

Based on the story by James Wan, Annabelle Comes Home is directed/co-written by Gary Dauberman.

I haven’t seen any of the other Annabelle movies but this trailer makes me curious and Grace is a wonderful young Actor.

Emily Brobst, Madison Iseman, Steve Coulter, Katie Sarife, Eddie J. Fernandez, Sade Katarina, Michael Cimino, and James William Ballard also star.

Director Rupert Wyatt’s Captive State is a new sci-fi /thriller set in a Chicago neighbourhood almost ten years after an occupation by an extra-terrestrial force.

Starring Vera Farmiga, John Goodman, Machine Gun Kelly, Ashton Sanders and Madeline Brewer; Wyatt’s film will explore both sides of the conflict – the collaborators and dissidents.

I’d love for this to be good – especially following my disappointment with the execution of the really great premise of Extinction (2018), the last sci-fi movie I was excited about.

Captive State could definitely be great. My fingers are crossed that it all works out.

Starring Hugh Jackman, J.K. Simmons, Sara Paxton, and Vera Farmiga, The Front Runner is a new Jason Reitman-directed biography/drama about American Senator Gary Hart and his 1988 presidential campaign. A campaign that was soon embroiled in scandal.

I knew absolutely nothing about Gary Hart before this trailer. I’m a little bit intrigued by him, but it’s really the chance to see Jackman do a great job that will have me tuning in.

Kaitlyn Dever, Molly Ephraim, Courtney Ford and Ari Graynor also star.

Godzilla – King Of The Monsters is a new Michael Dougherty-directed action/adventure of epic proportions. One that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history.

Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Sally Hawkins and Bradley Whitford star…

My favourite thing about this trailer? Each moment wings unfurl to that beautiful music – especially at 1:19. The combination of the visual effects, the score and the monster’s sheer size makes for an almost, dare I say, ‘spiritual experience?’

To be clear, I’m in for the special effects, and would truly be delighted if this were a disaster movie that pleasantly surprised me in more than one or two ways.

Kyle Chandler, Charles Dance, Ziyi Zhang, Aisha Hinds, Thomas Middleditch, Ken Watanabe and O’Shea Jackson also star.
