POWER RANGERS (2017): New Trailer From Elizabeth Banks, Bryan Cranston, Bill Hader…

Based on the hit children’s TV series, and directed by Dean Israelite, Power Rangers stars Elizabeth Banks, Bill Hader and Bryan Cranston.

The actual  Power Rangers are played by Ludi Lin (The Black Ranger), RJ Cyler (The Blue Ranger), Naomi Scott (The Pink Ranger), Becky G (The Yellow Ranger) and Dacre Montgomery (The Red ranger). They are a group of high school students infused with superpowers that they must harness to save the world.

I used to watch the TV series growing up. Something, namely the trailer, plus the high number of super hero movies in recent years, and my current feelings (boredom), where superhero movies are concerned, tells me one thing. I should probably leave this movie to the die-hard fans, and the young people who are still  into the TV series. I haven’t quite fully decided just yet.

What is your level of enthusiasm for this one?

WHY HIM? (2016): New Trailer Starring James Franco, Bryan Cranston, Zoey Deutch…

Read my spoiler-free movie review of Why Him? (2016).

Why Him? is the new ‘meet the parents’ comedy from James Franco, Bryan Cranston, Megan Mullally and Zoey Deutch.

This should be good because director/co-writer John Hamburg also wrote for the Paul Rudd and Jason Segel bromance classic,  I Love You, Man (2009). Plus, Ben Stiller’s Meet The Parents (2000).

James Franco in roles where he’s a little bit of an idiot, while also totally remaining lovable, are my favourites of his work. If you’ve seen and loved  Pineapple Express (2008) and  This Is The End (2013), then chances are you know exactly what I mean.

Why Him? Release Dates: December 25th, 2016 (US); January 6th, 2017 (UK); January 8th, 2017 (FR) January 12th, 2017 (GER)…

Keegan-Michael Key and Griffin Gluck also star.

THE INFILTRATOR (2016): New Trailer From Bryan Cranston, John Leguizamo…

In The Infiltrator, Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston is real-life character Robert Mazur. Mazur is an undercover US customs agent, and Pablo Escobar’s drug trafficking operation is where he must work unsuspected.

I imagine that fans of big hit TV show Breaking Bad will be very excited about this movie. If the pace and thrills are as fast and good as this trailer suggests, I’m hoping that we’ll all have a great time.

Directed by Brad Furman, Diane Kruger, Amy Ryan and John Leguizamo also star.

The Infiltrator Release Dates: July 15th, 2016 (US)…

KUNG FU PANDA 3 (2016): For The Overwhelming Cuteness…

Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016), Jack Black as Po
Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016), Jack Black as Po

I’m certain that most people, especially children will find Kung Fu Panda 3 very entertaining indeed.

Directed by Alessandro Carloni and Jennifer Yuh Nelson, Kung Fu Panda 3 has a lovely message about fulfilling your destiny, doing the right thing, family, friendship,  etc, which is beautiful. Nevertheless, I, for one, watched Kung Fu Panda 3 mainly for the humour. The story is good, too, but the cuteness of the animals was another big draw – and on that basis, the movie fully delivered.

Bryan Cranston’s Li voice and the ‘egg laying out of fear’ joke/sequence are definite highlights.

Watch it for the reasons above and because it’s truly good and fun.

Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, J.K. Simmons Seth Rogen, Jackie Chan and Lucy Liu are among the the key cast.

Just when I thought I’d have to wait until the next Minions movie for a much-welcomed overload of animated cuteness…

I’ve seen pandas in real life, and let me say, yes, they are super cute. However, pandas can also be incredibly boring! Sitting around and eating bamboo all day long. As such, thank heavens for overactive imaginations – the result of which, in this case, is the above entertaining trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3.

I love that the Kung Fu Panda movies are about finding your true self, plus being funny and cute, something I’m always happy to get more of.

Jack Black, Lucy Liu, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Brian Cranston and Dustin Hoffman are providing just some of the key voices.
